Good Italian translator with good interface and tools. I like that this is free!
I used this throughout Florence with my non-English speaking family. By downloading the program, you wont need to use data/offline. Grazie!

Some bad moments

I tested this translator by comparing it with three others. I would enter an italian sentence or a passage and copy and paste the identical passage into each of the four translators. The other three apps translated the passage accurately. This one usually produced an inaccurate, sometimes nonsensical translation, especially with longer more complex sentences. It did so poorly that I deleted it from my ipad.
I tried another translation app and found it very difficult to use. This one is simple and responds immediately offline. I am very satisfied with it.
Do not use this unless you want Italians to scratch their heads and make puzzled expressions. This app will mangle even the simplest translations. "We went to the market" will translate to something like "We made a store." This app is rubbish and does not understand the way Italians speak or comprehend grammar. It might be useful if you only want to use nouns but I wont even trust it for that.

I love this translator and the best thing about it is that it translates offline which is crucial in poor connection areas. I highly recommend!
If you go to Italy or try to learn italian language, its a good option. Simple interface and with option (text to speech) in inapp option. The thing that most likes is their offline option.
